The Brokenwood Tipping Point

We reach the Mariana Trench of Brokenwood episodes this week with S02E01 Leather and Lace – a tale that combines the topical 2015 Rugby World Cup with a horrible hate crime.
The Brokenwood Cheetahs have lost fifty games in a row and now their coach has been found murdered. Was it one of Mrs Marlowe's cheese rolls that did it? Or Brokenwood's sexy new librarian? Or, uh, one of the number of players who said they would do it at the pub just before it happened? Could it all be something to do with. . . composer Richard Wagner (1813 – 1883)?
Amelia and Rebecca are suffering. This episode is bleak. But they must power through for their loyal listeners. Includes top notch discussion of what men get up to when they're not sawing on top of a hill or playing a snare drum, Amelia's camera phone, Sheepworld, the person who invented tomato sauce bottles shaped like tomatoes, and what level of detail to go into when discussing plant diseases. Rebecca enjoys a praline.
It's only up from here!!
